Community ecology, landscape genetics, and conservation
I am interested in how climate change, invasive species, and management interventions drive shifts in ecological community compositions. My research incorporates environmental DNA, bioinformatics, and population genetics to assess landscape connectivity and local drivers of species assemblages. Understanding the environmental factors that are important for shaping ecological communities, as well as how populations are connected across the landscape, can inform conservation and management of threatened ecosystems.
